Guided by Advocate Manju Marasini and the LACC team, I gained insights into ethical legal practice and accessible justice, reinforcing my commitment to a law career focused on social justice and community service.

My internship at the Legal Aid and Consultancy Center (LACC) in Nepal was a formative experience that deepened my understanding of Nepali law, policy advocacy, and gender justice. I engaged in legal research, court observations, fieldwork, and high-level interviews, linking theory with real-world impact. While I valued the flexibility, I wished for more structured tasks, feedback, and direct involvement in client services. Overall, the experience broadened my view of legal practice beyond the courtroom and strengthened my commitment to using law as a tool for social equity.

I contributed to annual report documentation, brochure and poster design, website improvement, library database creation, and donor profile development. These tasks strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and adaptability while deepening my understanding of design, data management, and strategic engagement.
