Sakuntala Basnet (Advocate/Legal Officer)

Sakuntala Basnet is women and Human Right lawyer in Nepal. She has completed her Bachelor's Degree from Nepal Law Campus. She has been affiliated with Legal Aid and Consultancy Centre (LACC) in different capacity such as a litigation lawyer, trainer, and legal counsellor. She has been involved in various researches, study and has also participated in trainings, conferences, seminars, as participant as well as a presenter both at a national and international level. Altogether, she is a very down to earth person who works tirelessly to be the voice for the voiceless and is striving to build a nation filled with empowered, independent women who have their own unique identity and recognition
