Role:
• Deliver confidential, trauma-informed psychosocial counseling through individual and group sessions (in-person and via telephone).
• Conduct initial psychosocial assessments and develop tailored support plans for survivors.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and coping strategies to reduce trauma symptoms.
• Facilitate referrals to safe houses, medical services, legal aid, and other protection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with civil society organizations (CSOs), hospitals, OCMCs, and law enforcement to strengthen survivor protection and service coordination.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of counseling sessions and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Conduct awareness and psychoeducation sessions on trauma recovery, self-care, and resilience.
• Participate in case management meetings and multidisciplinary response efforts.
• Support capacity-building activities for project partners and community stakeholders where relevant.
• Uphold ethical standards, survivor dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
